Submissions PLAYWRITING CONTEST:
The Actor's Project NYC (TAPNYC) is accepting submissions of plays. Winner of this contest will have his or her play produced by The Actor's Project NYC. All plays are considered for the contest, and once received, stay in the running for future competitions. Please include your name, the name of your play, email address, and contact number with the submissions. Submissions should be accompanied with a $35 non-refundable entry fee. The contest is geared towards one-act plays, but any length play will be accepted and considered in the contest. Contest Winner's Name and Play Title will appear on our company website.

WRITING CONTEST - MONOLOGUES AND SCENES:
The Actor's Project NYC is accepting submissions of monologues and scenes for our showcase writing contest. Monologues and scenes should be 1-5 minutes in length.

The winning works will be part of upcoming industry showcases, which are held every three months. There is a $20 non-refundable submission fee, which covers up to five submissions per writer (an additional fee of $20 for six to ten entries per writer.)

EMAIL ALL SUBMISSIONS:
Please send all copies to info@theactorsprojectnyc.com (write "Play Submission" or "Monologue Submission" in subject line.) Please click on this link to pay for any submissions. Any submissions without payment will not be considered.

Additional Information:
The Actor’s Project NYC holds contests for writers with the intention of presenting new works on stage. Plays submitted are read by company actors and writers as they are received. During production months, submissions are read less, but every submitted play, scene and monologue is read. The reward for playwrights who are chosen is to simply have their work performed by a professional theatre company. We always invite industry (producers, directors, agents, etc.). There are no submission deadlines, because we produce showcases and plays every three months.
