work produced on a regular basis.
The Actor's Project NYC (TAPNYC) a
unique membership company dedicated to assisting members acquire
agents through quality industry showcases and quality original plays,
is currently interviewing writers for membership. Writers accepted
into the company will see their work performed in industry showcases
on a regular basis in quality mid-town theatres. Showcases feature
original works such as monologues, sketch-comedy, and scenes. TAPNYC'S
showcases are highly attended by industry and include diverse, short
works of comedy and drama. TAPNYC also encourages members to write
original short plays and in the past the company has produced members'
plays on an Off Broadway stage. In addition, the company offers
support with marketing your work to literary agents. Membership
dues are $295 for the first season.
