Additional Info:
The Actor’s Project NYC holds contests for writers with the intention of presenting new works on stage. Plays submitted are read by company actors and writers as they are received. During production months, submissions are read less, but every submitted play, scene and monologue is read. The reward for playwrights who are chosen is to simply have their work performed by a professional theatre company. We always invite industry (producers, directors, agents, etc.). There are no submission deadlines, because we produce showcases and plays every three months.
