Scandal In Manhattan - A Comedy by Bobby Holder
Scandal in Manhattan is a “romantical” comedy that twists
and turns like a farcical murder mystery.
This laugh-out-loud journey is moved along swiftly by the acts
and yearnings of a flamboyant front-desk supervisor at a mid-town Manhattan
hotel,
who is continuously being overwhelmed by his straight staff and his
"questionably straight" guests.
All hell, lust, and love break loose when a young handsome gentlemen
and an impatient southern woman,
accused of killing her father with roach poison, arrive to check-in.
The hotel and the play are packed full of peculiar characters,
each completing a comical life journey, as they each ask the question:
“Who Killed Daddy?”
Actor Stories - A Night to be Scene
Actor Stories is a short showcase of original scenes, mostly comedy
with a touch of drama,
performed by The Actor’s Project NYC Scene
and Sketch-Comedy Troupe.
This tricky showcase is lead by a witty narrator
who walks from the aggressive streets of Manhattan
to varied tales ranging
from infomercial dramatizations to real-life couple issues. Actor Stories
is fun and moving.
