Kim Chapman

Hoping to overcome a fear of speaking in public, Kim’s 3rd grade teacher cast her in the lead of a Japanese version of “Sleeping Beauty” and she hasn’t shut up since! Later, on the road to a career as a Psychologist and Lawyer, she decided it was now or never to pursue her love of acting. With a five-year deadline to make a go of it, she has never looked back. Moving from Texas to NY opened even more doors of opportunity; besides roles in front of the camera in commercials, TV and film, she also has worked behind the cameras as a 2nd AD and now is a union Set Decorator. But it’s time to be a fulltime actress again. Meeting Bobby Holder and joining The Actor’s Project NYC has become the perfect segue, allowing her to hone her skills and work with other talented actors and writers.
