DJ Mithcell

DJ Mitchell was born in Brooklyn, NY to Jane and Curtis Johnson. Her mother, a former ballet dancer inspired her daughter to become an entertainer as well. DJ began acting at the age of 6, where she got her first shot to shine on stage in what else...The Nutcracker. 'No Rat King Here'. She continued ballet for a year and quickly became drawn to other areas of the arts. After staring in several theatre productions, DJ decided to take her career to new heights. As a member of The Actor's Project NYC, DJ brings with her theatre, and television experiences under her belt. 'The Actor's Project NYC offers a new outlook for performance styles and expansion'. DJ can be seen staring in the stage production of "Why didn't J get married" this summer 2008 in Tribeca.
