Daina Schatz

Daina is pleased to be a member of The Actors Project NYC. Off-Broadway credits include: Lady of Copper with Theatregarden (Moskowitz/Dowager), Murder Me Always at the Laugh Factory (Trixie), Sing for Your Sanity at Wings Theatre (Samantha), and Triangle at the Players Theatre (Sharon). Regional credits include: Comedy of Errors and The King Stag with Yale Repertory Theatre; Kiss Me Kate (Lois), Forum (Gemini Twin) and Anything Goes (Angel Virtue) with Seven Angels Theatre; Company (Amy) at the Schwartz Center for Performing Arts; An Ideal Husband (Mrs. Marchmont) with the River Rep at Ivoryton. Other favorites: Cabaret (Sally Bowles), Guys and Dolls (Adelaide) and Swing! (Choreographer). Film/TV Credits include: The Sopranos, Friendly's Restaurants, Law and Order, Law and Order SVU, Six Degrees, College Road Trip, August Rush and Brotherhood. Daina received a BA in Psychology with a concentration in Law and Society from Cornell University and currently teaches swing dancing throughout the northeast. Currently, Daina is in negotiations for out-of-town trials as well as New York City (Actors Equity Association-Approved) productions of her new play, "Square Bubbles" starring herself and 3 other members from The Actor's Project NYC: Elizabeth Izzo, Desiree Maumus and Rodney Ladino!
