Carla Birkhofer

A Northern California native, Carla is excited to be a part of The Actor's Project! Formerly a certified preschool teacher, she caught the acting bug while studying at The American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco. Most recent stage credits include performing as multiple characters such as a vampire bride, a nun, and a Russian gypsy in Dracula with The Inwood Shakespeare Festival as well as Mandy in Then and Now (a semi-finalist winner in the summer Strawberry Festival 2009). Previously, she booked the lead the character in the film, What Comes Around Goes Around. Carla is an active repertory member of the Love Creek Productions Theatre and just got accepted into the Primary Stages family.
