Casting Quality Industry Showcases and Quality Original Plays.
The Actor's Project NYC (TAPNYC) is a unique theatre company that assists its members in
landing agents and getting work through quality industry showcases
and quality original plays. TAPNYC is currently casting four full-length
theatrical & comedic showcases of original music, scenes, monologues,
and sketch comedy, all original works created by TAPNYC company
writers. Past productions have been attended by producers (Broadway,
Off-Broadway & off-off-Broadway, film, TV), agents (commercial and
legit), talent managers, and casting directors. Membership dues
are $295 per season (less than $74 per month) and include group
coaching and workshops such as: agent coaching, résumé workshops, writing workshops; after three seasons actors have
the option to become lifetime members, who are not required to pay
dues. Possible pay provided; actors cast in company plays share a percent of the profits (you must be an accepted member to participate).

we ask that you send a headshot and resume by email
to auditions@theactorsprojectnyc.com
and then you will be contacted by the company director (Bobby Holder)
with an audition date.
Currently we are casting for three troupes.
Each troupe has 15-20 members.
For auditions we ask that you present
a one-minute comedic monologue.
