with an audition date.
The Actor's Project NYC (TAPNYC) , a unique theatre company that assists its members in landing agents and getting work through industry showcases and plays, is casting several full-length theatrical showcases of music, scenes, monologues, and sketch comedy, all original works created by TAPNYC company writers. Also casting new, original plays.
TAPNYC shows are attended by agents in commercial, print, film, television, and theatre. Past productions have been attended by producers (Broadway, Off-Broadway & off-off Broadway, film and TV), agents (commercial and legit), talent managers, and casting directors. (Membership dues
are $360 per season (less than $25 a week) and in additiion to a performance in an Off Broadway Industry showcase, include agent & manager coaching, resume workshps, and branding yourself workshops; after three seasons, actors have the option to become lifetime members, who are not required to pay dues.
In addition to meeting industry at showcases, all accepted new members will have the opportunity to meet with a comemercial agent, a legit agent, and a talent manager before the showcases. Possible pay provided: actors cast in company plays share a percent of profits (you must be an active member to participate.)

Each troupe has 15-20 members.
For auditions we ask that you present
a one-minute comedic monologue.
