Amy
Sheehan
Amy Sheehan was born in Seoul, South Korea and adopted at 9 months to
an Italian-American dance teacher and Irish-American musician. Despite
popular belief "Sheehan" is an Irish name while many hopefuls
have tried to 'asian-ize' it by calling her Amy shee-HAN. She grew up
in the wee small state of Rhode Island, home to the Mr. Potato head
and Family Guy's Stewie Griffin. She left 'Lil Rhody to attend NYU's
Tisch School of the Arts in New York where she trained at Atlantic Theater
Company and Stonestreet Studios. She's appeared in senior productions
both at Atlantic and Playwrights Horizons and can be seen playing Timora
Rich, a recurring character on the Stonestreet webisode The 47th Floor.
She is a proud member of The Attic, a young not-for-profit theater company
started by her and her peers from Atlantic. Amy also performs locally
as a singer-songwriter. She enjoys sketch comedy writing, dance fights,
and is very excited to be a new member of The Actor's Project NYC! www.amysheehan.com
